Minutes of the General Meeting held on Monday June 7, 2021

The meeting was called to order at approx. 8:02 p.m. - on-line Moderator/Chair. – President David Gilmour

Attendance – 16 members: Cindy Thomas, Dave & Patti Gilmour, Francine Gillanders, Deanne Sinnott, Lee & Mary Jane Nowak, Karen Parton, Mark & Melissa Mathers, Keith Lawson, Shirley Bell, Doris Avery, Marta Nettelfield, Jane Holicka, Tammy Ranta, Mike & Jenny Catton

Reminder: A quick reminder that there is a prize at the end of the year for everyone that has attended a meeting, served on the exec or a committee. You get one entry for every meeting attended, committee served on or exec position. They go into a hat at the end of the year and a name is drawn.

Minutes:
Dave: Well I would like to call the meeting to order. If everyone could sign in using your name.

Dave: Tonight’s meetings will be fairly short as We are navigating without Mary as she is in the hospital.

Dave: I would assume everyone has had time to review last months minutes. Is there any errors or omissions??

I move the minutes be adopted as written2nd by Doris

Dave: Is there any business arising from the minutes?
I have not heard from Kim as per treasurer's report so if we don't receive it by the end of the meeting it will show up when the minutes are posted

Show Committee: Mary, Shirley, Patti, Dave

Dave: There is nothing to report for the show committee

Programme: Jane

Jane: No report now. A Get-well card was sent to Mary Curl.
Jane: Is there any other member who might benefit from the card?

Discipline: Shirley

Shirley: No report

Membership Committee: Doris

Doris: Ricky Arruda is now an Ordinary Member of the BCC.
Dave: Thanks Doris

Obedience Committee: Marta Nettelfield

Marta: No Report

Awards Committee: Mary, Shirley, Marta, Cindy

No report

Fund Raising Committee: Patti

Patti: Nothing to report for Fundraising

Reading of General Correspondence: Mellissa

Mellissa: Nothing to report

Old Business:
Mary: The only thing I have is to remind everyone there is till the 15th for nominations for the elections

Dave: We have nothing for Fundraising or general correspondence

Dave: Is there any old business?
Dave: None

New Business:

Dave: I have one small piece of new business as this will be my last meeting as President. I am not letting my name stand.

I have been on the executive for approx. 12-14 years and it is time for someone else to take the reins.
